Lynn’s Music Librarian Paper published in book
Tsukasa Cherkaoui, Music Librarian at Lynn University Library, recently had a paper published in the book “Rhode Island’s Musical Heritage: An Exploration”. Cherkaoui’s paper on Rhode Island’s WPA Orchestra is one of twenty-six essays on the social and cultural history of the United States. She wrote the paper as a graduate student at the University of Rhode Island. She received her MM and MLIS from URI in 2002. Cherkaoui arrived at Lynn in 2003 and currently coordinates and organizes the recently created Music Library at Lynn Library. The library has a copy on order and we plan to highlight the book in a display.

The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice (not your traditional librarian)
THE LIBRARIAN: CURSE OF THE JUDAS CHALICE will premiere Sunday, Dec. 7, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on TNT.
The world is in danger of being overrun by vampires, and the only person who can prevent it from happening is Flynn Carsen in the third installment of TNT’s hugely successful Librarian franchise, starring Noah Wyle (ER). THE LIBRARIAN: CURSE OF THE JUDAS CHALICE, co-starring Bob Newhart (Elf, The Bob Newhart Show) and Jane Curtin (Our Town, 3rd Rock from the Sun), sends the bookish hero Flynn to New Orleans, where he tries to undo a nefarious vampire plot and rescue a kidnapped professor (Bruce Davison – X-Men, Knight Rider) with the help of a beautiful chanteuse (Stana Katic – Feast of Love). http://www.tnt.tv/movies/librarian3/display/?contentId=43482
