New books display features Music Librarian’s paper

Included in the New Books display at Lynn University Library is Rhode Island’s Musical Heritage: An Exploration which features Music Librarian Tsukasa Cherkaoui’s essay on “Rhode Island’s WPA Orchestra”. The recently published book features 26 essays on the social and cultural history of the United States. Ms. Cherkaoui wrote the essay while a graduate student at the University of Rhode Island. She has been at Lynn University since 2003 coordinating and organizing the music collection in the library.
