On October 1 President Obama proclaimed this month “Information Literacy Awareness Month.” In his proclamation, the president emphasized the importance of people learning the skills to locate and evaluate information. The document continues stating “ National Information Literacy Awareness Month highlights the need for all Americans to be adept in the skills necessary to effectively navigate the Information Age.” As the main information resource on campus, Lynn Library has created a display highlighting information literacy.
